This particular blog is for posting various notes, thoughts, feelings, and thus is highly personal.  Definitely a "friends" only affair.

I will be, after years of failed promises and personal crises, FINALLY, creating and posting separate blogs for social media posts. I will post links to my writings on FB, Twitter, etc., because they're too damn long for those platforms. Some political posts will, predictably, loffend or incite my remaining FB Friends, and result in the usual immediate deletion.

I have had a number of failed attempts in the past to initiate blogs, then let them slowly die of inactive asphyxiation, out of a lack of planning, coherence, confidence, and whatnot.  My brain has misfired many times when struggling to focus.

This year, I'm hoping to wipe the slate clean, vow to avoid cliches, improve my grammar and style, and keep the damn thing updated on a daily-to-weekly basis. Also, because this is not directly FB or Twitter, I will avoid any kind of neurotic tendency to self-censor, for fear of reprisal.
